Espadrilles..The Summer Essential
Princess Grace Kelly in Espadrilles
Way before Christian Louboutin became known for his toe tipping triple-stack heel, his borderline slutty but acceptable over-the-knee hook her boot and his more recent hip-hot creation the spikey sneaker designed by Swizz Beats, Louboutin was widly popular for his incredibly sexy super- high yet fabulously feminine espadrilles. Louboutin took the classic flat to new heights..literally. What began as basic comfortable affordable and extremely durable summer shoe for farmers and peasants had eventully become the summer staple for the jet-set crowd of France’s uber-chic and ultra-trendy beachfront resort town, St Tropez.

RED is all the rage this summer season and I’m thrilled to see it staying strong into this coming Fall 2010.
I recently came across the very first blog I ever posted on my blogspot website. It was written almost a year ago in the Summer of 2009 , the topic : How haute the color RED was. And I’m thrilled to report it still is!

OK ladies you know exactly the walk I’m talking about…you head out late night dressed in your sexiest dress, your legs looking long and lean in the latest pair of 6 inch Louboutin’s, hair styled au so naturally in “just got off the beach” waves you innocenlty leave the house with EVERY intention to come back at the end of the night… but you DON’T!
I’m not saying it’s because you couldn’t resist going home with that handsome euro-trust fund-bottle popping man you met at Cipriani’s it could be you simply had one Goose and juice too many and decided to crash on your besty’s couch instead of driving home irresponsibly.
