What better time of year to show-off your hosting skills and  to open up your home to guests then during the sun-filled long lazy days of Summer!!

Summer-time is the perfect season to whip out your bright colored trays and  bold  hued lemonade pitchers.   The sexy summer  months offer you the ultimate opportunity to spark up your bbq grill and sip on sweet refreshing cocktails and fruit infused Sangria’s.

Fabulous girls love to host. We find any excuse to invite over our friends and  family  for endless gossip sessions and glamorous group gatherings. It’s a great time for us to gracefully display our skills as a hostess with the most-est.

On a recent trip to my favorite home-goodies store Ketzy’s located in the heart of Cedarhurst  New York I chatted with the owner Breezy Schwartz Beckerman who graciously gave me her 5 Fab Tips on how to prepare the perfect Summer table with simple solutions to setting a fabulous plate presentation!

Breezy’s 5 Fab Tips:

1. Plastic, Melamine and Acrylic are a worry free solution to being out doors! No need to worry about breakage!
2. Prepare in advance so you can be your own guest.
3. Don’t use flowers they attract bugs. Use the fancy Citronella candles that are available all over. They look great and keep bugs away!
4. Keep it  bright and colorful, its summer so enjoy!
5. Use things with lids to help keep out bugs and keep food fresh! Pitchers and Ice buckets with lids help keep it cold. Serving bowls and canisters with lids help when your preparing in advance and make clean up easy afterwards!
