Espadrilles..The Summer Essential
Princess Grace Kelly in Espadrilles
Way before Christian Louboutin became known for his toe tipping triple-stack heel, his borderline slutty but acceptable over-the-knee hook her boot and his more recent hip-hot creation the spikey sneaker designed by Swizz Beats, Louboutin was widly popular for his incredibly sexy super- high yet fabulously feminine espadrilles. Louboutin took the classic flat to new heights..literally. What began as basic comfortable affordable and extremely durable summer shoe for farmers and peasants had eventully become the summer staple for the jet-set crowd of France’s uber-chic and ultra-trendy beachfront resort town, St Tropez.
The term espadrilles is a french word that was derived from the Catalan name for the shoes, espardenya, which is derived from the Catalan name for esparto, the tough, wiry Mediterranean grass used to make the rope sole you traditionally see on the bottom of the shoe. Espadrilles became fashionable in USA in the 1940s. Lauren Bacall’s character in the 1948 movie “Key Largo” wore ankle-laced espadrilles and soon after the peasant footwear became wildly popular. They could be seen gracing the royal feet of Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, French designer Gabriel “Coco” Chanel, European socialties and famous American movie screen sirens. They have since become a summer staple in every chic womans closet!
Espadrilles are as classic as they come. Spotted on the pedicured feet of both Princesses and Party Girls, the espadrille is The Summer Essential !!

I happen to be surfing on the net far more than three hours today, yet I never uncovered any exciting post like yours. It is very worth enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers produced superior content material as you did, the net will probably be a lot more beneficial than ever prior to.
wow thank you for the compliment!
