Rocking my Rewash Jean's
Recently while doing my once a year closet Spring cleaning I came across an old pair of my J-Brand “Skinny” jeans . As I held them up and gave them the “will they make it back into my
closet look” I realized these were NOT jeans, these were leggings parading around as jeans better suited for anorexic Barbie then for me, into the “so-last-season” pile they were thrown. I’m a woman, not a string bean. I have curves and I got a body that is way less bony and a lot more bootyliscious. I decided it was time to find real jeans to fit my real woman physique.
I shopped around trying on denim after denim, and ladies you know what a nightmare it is trying on jeans! On and off, jumping, squatting, pulling, it’s a workout in itself. I was beginning to get frustrated and my arms were beat from the full body workout. I was about to give up on my search for the perfect pair of jeans until my very patient super-sweet salesgirl handed me a pair of denim done right…by Rewash! They were comfortable, stylish, and made my assets look fierce. I was hooked. The price was right and the look was slamming.

Last week I went up to the Rewash Denim showroom in the heart of New York’s garment district to meet with Johnny Shabe the director of marketing for Rewash to discuss the creation of these amazing denim delights. As soon as we sat down to chat I was conferenced in with the man in charge of creative consulting O’Neal McKnight.
O’Neal McKnight who has personally styled wardrobes for an elite roster of clients including Diddy, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Russell Simmons, Penelope Cruz, Jessica Alba, and Robin Thicke was quick to tell me that “these jeans were designed for today’s body, woman with curves like Rihanna, J-Lo and Jessica Alba”. I was feeling what he was saying and I’m definitely feeling these jeans!
