The Ohel Le Cirque de Purim  event was  huge success, and one of my most proud moments of the weekend. Guests arrived in full costume and were not disappointed as the night not only raised money for a wonderful cause it was a night filled with fantastic entertainment, wonderful raffles , delicious food  and  spectacular decor courtesy of Scoop Couture Events. As the event planner of the night I was thrilled with results as I rocked the house in my custom Indian sari. It was genuinely a sweet-sari inspired success.

My next big party was at the Sony Building in the kosher restaurant Solo. Snooki, Vinny and the Jersey Shore entourage all showed up to sashay thier sexy jersey shore ass’s. The world famous DJ’s The Chain Smokers were spinning their crazy sounds and  blaring beats when Kristallnacht (the night of glass) came pouring down  in the Atrium of the building. Although the guest’s in the lobby had an unwanted  surprise shower, the VIPs at my exclusive event partied away inside the safe haven of Solo.Things were pumping the crowd was dressed and ready to go, angels, devils,drag queens and bunnies were dancing their sox off..until the NYPD decided to shut my Solo-Shore Club down. In my typical “whatever doesn’t kill me only makes me stronger/the show must go on” attitude, I loaded up my Escalade with as many party people I could fit and headed to The Boom Boom Room with Sir Henry and Company. We arrived in full costume much to the delight of the uber-strict Boob Boom Room doorman. (it’s been said breaking into Fort Knox is a breeze compared to entry to Boom Boom).  We partied into the wee hours of the morning, my Blackberry buzzing away with bbm’s and text’s  ranging from “omg heard about the Sony building..r u alive” to “get us in to boom boom bitch, your party was shut down’!! I ignored them all….that was until my alarm went off  a few hours after I got home and fell into a very deep yet painfully short slumber at 7am. Time to deliver *Mishloach Manot with my kids !! I got up ran to my car and headed back to the fabulous Five Towns where I quickly shed my Marie Antoinette costume from the previous nights debauchery’s and quickly transformed into none other then a Queen. The Queen of Heart’s that is, my daughter was Alice and my son was the Mad-Hatter. Off we went to deliver our baskets filled with cupcakes and tea. It was a crazy fun weekend in my whimsical wonderland and I loved every mad minute of it.

*Mishloach Manot : gifts of food that Jews send to each other during the holiday of Purim. “Mishloach manot” literally means the “sending of portions” in Hebrew and this mitzvah is meant to ensure that everyone has enough food to enjoy the traditional Purim feast. It is also seen as an opportunity to strengthen relationships among people. The custom comes from the biblical Book of Esther, where the Purim story is recounted. Esther 9:22 reads: “as days of feasting and gladness, and sending portions of food to one another, and gifts to the poor”
