Rocking my Rewash Jean's
Recently while doing my once a year closet Spring cleaning I came across an old pair of my J-Brand “Skinny” jeans . As I held them up and gave them the “will they make it back into my
closet look” I realized these were NOT jeans, these were leggings parading around as jeans better suited for anorexic Barbie then for me, into the “so-last-season” pile they were thrown. I’m a woman, not a string bean. I have curves and I got a body that is way less bony and a lot more bootyliscious. I decided it was time to find real jeans to fit my real woman physique.
Attention all Gold-Diggers….gold is the new hot trend for Spring and forward. Once considered a total fashion faux-pas , woman were ditching gold like a plaque. Hot in the 80’s gold was everywhere, from Supermodels to the neck’s of Super-Rapper’s. Gold hung from necks, waists, ears even from the ceiling. Chandeliers, bathroom fixtures (you know the one’s still in your grandmother’s house) and even on cars! Come on who remembers the “gold kit package”? My Lexus wouldn’t leave home without it, gold emblems on the grill, rims and of course on the trunk..Lexus LS400 in brightly gleaming gold custom letters. Eventually White Gold, Silver and Stainless were the fashion fix and gold was officially dead! Chanel chain links much to Coco’s horror had taken the silver skinny dip, as did watches, jewelry , accessories & cars (can somebody say CHROME DIPPED!!??) . Homes were being renovated and stripped of anything that resembled the former metal, stainless, nickel,silver & chrome had officially taken over.
