It’s been awhile since I blogged and it’s beautiful to be back! As usual I’ve been busy planning events, parties, fundraisers and bopping around from business meetings , fashions shows , fabulous art exhibits and a Brazilian brunch at Bagatelle. The highlight of my weekend was definitely the Mr. Brainwash show in the meatpacking district. After begging the big burly not so friendly Bagatelle bouncer to let me in to the Brazilian themed brunch I made my way threw genetically challenged gigantic German models and overly accessorized euro-trash men to my good friends “table” . It was 3 o’clock in the afternoon yet the place was pumping as if it were 4am on the beaches of Ibiza. After about 6 minutes of banging trance beats I bee-lined to the door and decided to walk next door to take in the arts.
Next door to Bagatelle at the Opera Gallery was a brilliant exhibit by the artist known as Mr. Brainwash. I happen to be a huge Pop Art fan and a Pop Culture Princess. Mr brainwash tickled all my pretty in pink senses with his collection of works inspired by today’s ICON’s.

Madonna, Micheal the Prince of Pop , Jay-Z and countless other icon’s of my generation decorated the walls. As a huge fan of Andy Warhol the influence of his work was everywhere and I wanted to take them all home with me..if I had a spare 90 grand I just might’ve.
This exhibit is a definite go see and admission is free!
Happy Pop Painting!

Esther
